Texting The Figure showcases the figurative work by jonmarc edwards. Utilizing his unique Character based Merge ideograms jonmarc explores the relationship between figure, text and meaning. Emotion exudes, sensuality simmers and the cool intellectual discourse pervades many of the paintings, drawings and sculptural renderings. Like most of JMe’s paintings, layers of information go hand-in-hand with the surface construction, blending the content and form into a synthesis of actuality; the fulfillment of possibility.
