Five Principles to MERGE

MERGE Characters are arranged equidistantly, aesthetically and / or intuitively.

  1. Each Character = one syllable or unit
  2. A unit may be broken into two halves, upper and lower.
  3. The largest letter in a unit is to be read first.
  4. A smaller upper letter is to be read before a larger lower letter.
  5. A line bisecting a unit indicates two or more units are occupying one Character.*                                                               * principle #5 is not applicable to the Character above
