If you live in Los Feliz or East Hollywood, you’ve probably passed this home many times on Franklin Ave. Built by Frank Lloyd Wright Jr. in the 1920’s. It is considered a Mayan Revival, using molded concrete blocks to create the structure and ornamentation. I suggest looking deeper into the history and myths of this house, of which there are many, but also, if you are an Angeleno, be grateful you get to see this all the time after grocery shopping at Gelsen’s.
