Now in its sixth year, INCOGNITO has raised more than a million dollars for SMMoA since its inception in 2004. This legacy would not be possible without the collective generosity of hundreds of artists who donate their time and talent in support of SMMoA each year.
I will be in NYC this summer for a twelve-week writing course with writer Gordon Lish at The Center for Fiction. As you know my work has been centered on the nature and elasticity of language as a visual form to create and penetrate the lure of abstraction. This class I feel and hope will challenge my use of verbs and nouns and also articulate my desire to communicate in the narrative along with the abstract. More next quarter.
