I’ve been meaning to take a few pictures of this gas station for over thirty years, but always thought I would do it next time I came to visit. Well, now is the time. There were no cars in the gas lines, so I took the opportunity to roll up, park, and quickly snap a few pictures of this quintessential mid-century architecture before they knock it down. There are a few classic gas stations in Traverse City; maybe I will take them for posterity too…?! Good ol’ gas days when a gallon was 35 cents!
