I do a mindful extended walk-through Griffith Park every New Year’s, either alone or with family and friends. This time around I was on my own and took a long circuitous walk around the” Greek,” golf course and tennis courts up to the water towers where I came upon this unexpected photo op. As the handlers and dog walkers took turns placing and cajoling the dogs into place the crowds swelled in anticipation for what everyone knew was going to be an amazing photo. The humorous and precarious unfolding of placing and settling the dogs was a great event to bring in the new year. Have a good one!!
