We are thrilled to announce the long-awaited unveiling of the short documentary film Pictographic Keyboard, featuring the visionary work of artist Jonmarc Edwards, with video and music by acclaimed composer Hans Fjellestad.
Originally shot on VHS in 1989, this unique film documents the creation of edwards’ iconic painting, Pictographic Keyboard. JME captured the original footage on two sixty-minute VHS tapes; however, for decades, the second tape remained lost, leaving this vital project unfinished and without a proper ending.
After years of anticipation, filmmaker Hans Fjellestad and jonmarc edwards have finally resolved the film’s open ending, providing a complete narrative and giving this artwork the documentary it so richly deserves.
