This is a favorite family photo from yesteryear. Taken back in the 60’s near Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA at the then-famous Movieland Wax Museum; including over 300 wax figures and 150 sets. Presently, the iconic sign has been removed, the wax figures sold at auction and the museum has been demolished to make room for a butterfly pavilion that is stalled in litigation. The video link below is a straight forward walk through of the Wax Museum shot a day before 9/11. (Creepy element) The Chamber of Horrors segment (the best part) starts around 22:45 into the video, right after a stroll through the souvenir shop:)
Two weeks until Halloween.
